Nashville-based singer-songwriter Gillian Krystal had an early start in music. Originally from New York, she grew up listening to Nat King Cole and Etta James in her dad’s car, which eventually evolved into a love for musical theatre. After picking up the guitar post-college, she also realized her passion for songwriting, finding a space where she felt the most in touch with herself. She began playing local spots in New York as a hobby until leaving her full-time job to pursue a music career in Nashville. Since then, she has released two EPs, had a ongoing residency at The Westin hotel, and played at venues such as Twelve Thirty Club, East Side Bowl, The East Room, The Analog, and more.
 

Gillian draws inspiration from Stevie Nicks, Norah Jones, Lana Del Rey, and Sara Bareilles to create her soulful, dreamy pop sound with a unique edge. Her biggest goal as an artist is to inspire and help others through her music.
