““Torn,” EP, deserves to be heard. It has everything you want in an album/EP. It has vocals for days, incredible instrumentals and catchy lyrics. If you haven’t already, make sure that you put this one on your playlist, wherever you listen to music. You will not regret it.” - Jerrett Franklin
Gillian Krystal is a singer-songwriter from New York, currently based in Nashville. Her unique blend of soulful, ethereal melodies inspire and evoke feeling with each song. Starting out with a background in musical theatre, she knew she loved to sing throughout her life but quickly realized her passion for songwriting once she picked up a guitar.
After singing the national anthem at the TD Bank firework show, she met Russ DeSalvo who produced her debut EP, Torn, in July of 2020. She fell in love with the process, and decided to pursue music full-time. Her first single, Feed Your Soul, was inspired by a group of adults with disabilities who she ran a program for in New York for several years before moving to Nashville. She says they are much of the reason she had the courage and imagination to pursue her dreams, and many are included in the music video. She is looking forward to releasing more music in 2023.
